This conservation file was first posted on the World Wide Web by Donny Hamilton during the 1998 spring semester for use by the students enrolled in ANTH 605, Conservation of Cultural Resources, at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, USA. "Conservation of leather" file is part of the laboratory manual that was used in conjunction with the course. The emphasis of the course was on the conservation of material from underwater sites, especially marine sites, but the conservation of material from terrestrial sites is also discussed.
The complete laboratory manual is available on-line at http://nautarch.tamu.edu/class/anth605/File0.htm
